Can I donate items other than money?
We would be happy to accept items that we can sell on behalf of the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. You can set up your sale and give a percentage of the profit to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund by going to our account on EBay Giving Works. To view the site, click here.

How do I make a donation to the fund?

Does the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund also accepts non-monetary donations?
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund is a Delaware corporation. It has been recognized as a public not-for-profit exempt charity by the Internal Revenue Service. We will be happy to provide a copy of our 501(c) 3 and our mission statement letter upon request.
Is my donation tax deductible?
All money donated to the fund is tax deductible to the full extent allowable by law. All donations receive an acknowledgment letter for tax purposes.
Will any of my donation be used for administrative expenses?
No. Cantor Fitzgerald and its partners underwrite all administrative costs.
How is my donation distributed?
100% of all donations received are distributed to the affected victims’ families or selected charities in cash grants. The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund distributes unrestricted funds. We believe that the people in need are in the best position to decide where the donations would be most beneficial.
Can I make a donation to a specific family or charity?
No, unfortunately the law does not allow us to segregate funds for any specific family. We can however send an acknowledgment to the family of your choice that a donation has been made in memory of their loved one.
Can I get contact information for a specific family member?
In order to protect the privacy of our families the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund does not release family members contact information.
Volunteer
How can I volunteer at the Relief Fund?
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund is always looking for volunteers who would like to work with the fund. If you would like to join our team of volunteers please contact the Relief Fund at 212-829-4770 or email info@cantorrelief.org.
Can my children help?
Children from around the country have fundraised on behalf of the Relief Fund in their schools and organizations. These young philanthropists have organized and taken part in various fundraising events including Penny drives, selling/making pins, fundraising walks, and selling baked goods and lemonade. Also, children have made pictures and crafts to be sold on eBay to benefit the Relief Fund.
