Who is the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund?
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund was established in response to the devastating loss of 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund is a 501(c)(3) charity which today provides support for many other charitable organizations and causes globally, including disaster relief.
How do we raise money?
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund accepts fund throughout the year from donors. Our primary fundraising activity is our annual Charity Day, when Cantor Fitzgerald and its affiliate BGC Group donate a day’s revenue. 100% of all funds raised are earmarked for those in need.
When is Charity Day?
Our upcoming BGC Group Charity Day is scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, and will be held at both our offices in London.

What is expected of the celebrity ambassador?
We request 1-2 hours of your celebrity ambassadors’ time for them to join us on the trading floors at our offices. Our team will assist them in making trades, and we will capture photography and video for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund’s digital and social media channels, where they can highlight your organization and mission. There may also be opportunities to participate in media interviews.
How can non-celebrity attendees participate in Charity Day?
BGC Charity Day is a fun day, we invite each charity to attend on the day for approximately 2-3 hours with 1-2 representatives from your charity. We also encourage charities with young beneficiaries to invite 2-3 families to join us for a very special day to remember.
When are donations distributed?
Donations to participating charities are confirmed after the event once the total amount raised by Charity Day is known. Distributions of donations to charities will be made within a 12-month period following September 11, 2026.
