Who is the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund?
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund was established in response to the devastating loss of 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund is a 501(c)(3) charity which today provides support for many other charitable organizations and causes globally, including disaster relief.
How do we raise money?
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund accepts fund throughout the year from donors. Our primary fundraising activity is our annual Charity Day, when Cantor Fitzgerald and its affiliate BGC Group donate a day’s revenue. 100% of all funds raised are earmarked for those in need.
When is Charity Day?
Our upcoming Charity Day is scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, and will be held at both our Cantor and BGC offices in New York City.

What is expected of the celebrity ambassador?
We request 60-90 minutes of your celebrity ambassadors’ time for them to join us on the trading floors at our Cantor and BGC Group offices. Our team will assist them in making trades, and we will capture photography and video for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund’s digital and social media channels, where they can highlight your organization and mission. Please note, transportation will be arranged between office locations.
How are charities accepted to participate in Charity Day?
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund team reviews all applications and selects participants who align with our mission and can secure the participation of an approved celebrity ambassador. Celebrity ambassadors greatly help increase visibility for our event and raise money to support our mission year-round. Our team asks that you wait for us to contact your organization to confirm details of your participation before reaching out to secure your celebrity ambassador.
When are donations distributed?
Distributions of donations to charities will be made within a 12-month period following September 11, 2026.
